Terms and conditions of purchase and sale

1. The agreement

These terms and conditions apply to purchases of products and services from Flytesenter through our websites, online stores and booking systems.

When you make a purchase, you enter into an agreement with Floating AS as responsible for the online store and payment solutions, together with the local company that delivers the service to you. As a seller, we are responsible for:

  • delivery of the service or product
  • customer service and follow-up
  • cancellation, rebooking and refund where applicable
  • complaints and handling of any defects

Services are provided locally through the following companies:

  • Drammen Float Center (Floate Drammen AS)
  • Jæren Floating Center (Floate AS)
  • Trondheim Floating Center (Just Float Trondheim AS)

Floating AS and the local floating center that provides the service in question are jointly responsible to you for fulfilling the purchase in accordance with the agreement.

2. Payment

Payment is made to Floating AS or to the relevant local floating center as the provider of the service or product. We offer secure payment via:

  • Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay where available
  • Vips
  • Klarna where this is enabled

Card information and other sensitive payment data are processed by our payment providers and are not stored with us. Flytesenter employees do not have access to your card information.

Vipps, Klarna and other payment providers only provide the payment solution itself. The actual purchase, delivery, cancellation, refund and complaint are always handled by the Floating Center at Floating AS and the local floating centers.

3. Cancellation

  • Regular treatments must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before commencement for a full refund.
  • Massages and combination packages must be cancelled no later than 48 hours before the start.
  • In case of non-attendance, the lesson will be charged in full.

Cancellation must be made via our digital solutions or by contacting the relevant float center within the deadline.

4. Right of withdrawal

When purchasing online, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal on:

  • products
  • gift cards and gift vouchers that have not been redeemed or used
  • membership that has not been started

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • products with broken seals or damage after receipt
  • gift cards, coupons or memberships that have already been redeemed, activated or used

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer covers return costs for physical goods, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Membership

  • Memberships can be canceled within 30 days of purchase for a full refund if the membership has not been used.
  • No refunds will be given after the membership has commenced.
  • Any binding period and other terms are clearly stated upon purchase.

6. Complaints

If you believe there is a defect in a product or service, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can attempt to resolve the matter.

The deadline for complaints is:

  • 2 years for regular goods and services
  • 5 years for goods intended to last significantly longer

7. Responsibility and health

You are responsible for your own health before, during and after treatment. If you are unsure about your own health condition, we recommend that you consult a doctor before booking an appointment.

Floating Center at Floating AS and the local floating centers are not responsible for:

  • any health problems that arise during or after treatment
  • lost, forgotten or unattended belongings during your stay with us

8. Prices

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Any fees or additional costs will be clearly stated before the purchase is confirmed.

Costs that are not disclosed prior to purchase shall not be charged to the customer.

9. Conflict resolution

Disputes will first be resolved amicably between you and the Floating Center at Floating AS or the relevant local floating center.

10. Privacy and data security

We process personal data in accordance with applicable regulations. Only employees with a business need have access to information about your purchases and orders.

  • We do not store credit card information.
  • The customer register normally contains names, contact information and information related to your orders.
  • The information is used to deliver the service, follow up on the customer relationship and fulfill legal requirements.
  • Personal data is not shared with third parties beyond our data processors who operate payment and IT solutions for us.

You may request access, correction or deletion of personal data where this is consistent with accounting legislation and other statutory retention requirements.
