Welcome to flytesenter.no. We take your privacy seriously and process your personal information in accordance with GDPR and Norwegian law. This statement explains how we collect, use and protect information about you.

Who we are

Flytesenter is operated in collaboration between Floating AS , Floate Drammen AS , Floate AS and Bare Flyt Trondheim AS , which have common owners and a common brand. In this statement, these companies are referred to collectively as "Flytesenter".

Floating AS has the overall responsibility for flytesenter.no and is the data controller for personal data related to online shopping, app and common customer systems. Floating AS and the relevant local floating center are jointly responsible for the delivery of the service, customer service, cancellation, refund and complaint as described in the terms and conditions of purchase and sale.

What information we collect

  • Name, phone number and email address for orders and customer follow-up
  • Treatment history and information about the use of our services
  • Information about purchasing gift cards, membership and responsible Float Center unit
  • Payment information processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe, Klarna, Vipps, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • Other information you voluntarily provide to us, for example in customer service inquiries

How we use the information

  • To handle appointments and deliver agreed services
  • To send reminders, receipts and important information about your orders
  • To maintain customer records and improve our services and customer experience
  • For invoicing, refunds and payment processing
  • To provide customer service and handle complaints and claims

The processing is based on an agreement with you, legal obligations and our legitimate interest in operating and developing the business.

Use of third party services

To deliver a safe and efficient service, we use several external suppliers, including:

  • Online store and payment: Shopify, Stripe, Klarna, Vipps, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Analysis and advertising: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar
  • Customer dialogue and newsletters: Mailchimp and Tidio

Some of these providers may process personal data outside the EEA. In such cases, we ensure that the transfer has a valid legal basis, such as standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or similar mechanisms.

Vipps, Klarna and other payment providers only act as technical payment intermediaries and are not a party to the agreement between you and the Floating Center. The actual purchase, delivery, cancellation, refund and complaint are always handled by Floating AS and the relevant local floating center in accordance with the terms of purchase and sale.

Storage time

We store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and in line with statutory accounting and documentation requirements. Information that is no longer necessary is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

  • Right to access what information we have about you
  • Right to have incorrect or incomplete information corrected
  • Right to request deletion of personal data where the conditions are met
  • Right to restrict or object to processing in certain cases
  • Right to data portability, i.e. to receive information you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format
